Winter Wanderings in NYC - BTS Spots Edition
I’m in New York at least twice a year, both for work and for my tradition of spending my birthday at the end of August or the first week of fall. This winter of 2023, I went back to check out some BTS-related spots, though I’ve already visited so many places in NYC over the years.
Some highlights from this trip include:
⦁ Line Friends Store at Times Square – For BT21 fans, this is the go-to spot for merchandise, cute displays, and all things BTS.
⦁ Grand Central Station – Fans often meet by the famous clock, where BTS performed “ON” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2020.
⦁ 5th Avenue in front of The Peninsula – A popular photo spot thanks to Kim Taehyung, where fans like to recreate his shots.
⦁ MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) – Namjoon was photographed sitting at the stairs here, and V also had photos taken near Starry Starry Night.
⦁ Brooklyn Bridge – Classic NYC views with plenty of BTS-inspired photo opportunities.
Even after years of NYC trips, it’s always exciting to revisit these spots and see the city through a BTS lens.
(I have separate posts for Katz Deli under the Indulge section and J-Hope’s “On The Street” filming location under Wanderings.)
