After spending hours outside HYBE waiting for Jimin and Jungkook’s military discharge, we were completely exhausted and starving. We just wanted to sit down and eat something good, so we Googled nearby restaurants and that’s how we found CHOSIM (also called First Time / Chosim Korean Beef Butcher’s Restaurant) in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam.

The listing mentioned that Jungkook had eaten there, so that pretty much decided it for us. We headed over and ended up loving the place. It’s clean, calm, and has this simple, modern vibe nothing fancy or over the top. The staff were nice, and the food came out quickly.

We ordered the same hanwoo beef set that Jungkook had, and honestly, it was amazing, super tender, flavorful, and grilled perfectly. Definitely pricey, but worth every bite. The meat quality was top-tier.

By the time we finished, we felt completely recharged, full, happy, and kind of proud of our random Google find. It was the perfect meal to end a long, tiring day in Seoul.
