Living My Delulu Dream: IN THE SOOP BTS Ver. Season 2 (Pyeongchang)
On my second trip to Korea and on the second day, I finally got to check another dream off my list — visiting the filming location of IN THE SOOP BTS Ver. Season 2 in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province. The property was everything I imagined and more — a massive private estate surrounded by quiet mountains, owned by HYBE, and specially remodeled for BTS. It had that calm, healing energy you could feel the moment you arrived — the kind of place where time just slows down.
I joined the IN THE SOOP BTS Ver. (Pyeongchang) Filming Location Tour through Klook Travel, which came with official In the SOOP merch set and a cute rest stop snack — the famous twist potato, of course. We traveled by bus and it rained the entire day — the kind of soft, steady rain that somehow made everything feel even more “SOOP-like.”
Walking inside the house was surreal. I saw the kitchen where they cooked, the snack area where they had ramen and late-night cravings, and even the spot where they played games together. I touched SUGA’s guitar — yes, the very one from the show — and honestly, that alone made my whole trip worth it. I spent extra time in the Airstream where Yoongi and Jungkook wrote songs, soaking (literally — it was leaking from the rain) in the thought of them sitting there, working side by side. Total delulu mode, but magical nonetheless.
Outside, I walked by the pool, the tennis court, and the wide-open yard where they had their outdoor fun. The rooms were smaller than they seemed on camera, but that made everything feel even more personal — as if their laughter and quiet moments were still echoing in the walls.
Even drenched and cold, I left the estate with the warmest heart. For an ARMY, standing in the same places where BTS rested, played, and created felt like stepping inside their peace.
